My task as COO is to assemble the very best specialist team, where everyone can bring their complementary skills and experience to help us realise our ambitions as an innovative, digital council where citizens are at the heart of our work. These positions, which will work closely with me and Tom Smith, Director of Customer Experience and Communities, are pivotal to achieving our full potential.

The Director of Digital Innovation and ICT will join the council’s corporate leadership team, leading digital innovation and ICT priorities and advancing the Council’s Digital Strategy to achieve our ambitious plans. Your contribution will drive Sheffield's digital transformation, lead our approach to emerging technology enhancing customer service and experience. Balancing a love of technology with people centred solutions you’ll be central to making a difference to the people we serve.

The Head of Customer Experience will provide strategic leadership across the Council, fostering a 'One Council' approach to deliver excellent customer experiences for local people, communities, and businesses. Using data, you will bring customer experience alive and use this insight to deliver for our service users. The Head of Customer Operations will develop and lead our customer hub, manage a busy contact centre and face to face operation and work to streamline inbound customer demand, continuously improving customer service.
